CASINO WAR
Casino war is an extremely easy game, basically it is a game of who is dealt the highest card.
A varying amount of decks of cards are used ( usually 6 )
Suits do not matter
Aces are always counted as high
The player places his bet then the player and dealer are dealt 1 card each
If the dealers card is higher the player loses
If the players card is higher the player wins an amount equal to his bet
If the cards are the same the player has 2 choices
1 surrender the hand and lose half of his bet
2 go to war
To go to war the player must place another bet equal to his original bet
After 3 burn cards the dealer will deal 1 more card each
If the dealers card is higher the player loses all bets
If the players card is higher then he wins even money on his 2nd bet ( for example bet = $5 receive $10 back ) and gets his original bet back
If the cards are again a tie then at most casino's the player will win even money on both his bets ( tie bonus in chart below )
The strategy in casino war is easy, always go to war as the H/A is significantly less than surrendering
As you can see in the table below the most common variation, being 6 decks with a tie bonus is 2.33%
